Job Duties

• Maintain accurate financial records and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Monitor and analyze accounting data to ensure financial accuracy and integrity.
• Prepare and submit tax reports (VAT, NBT, PAYE, etc.) in compliance with Sri Lankan regulations.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Track and analyze production costs, raw material usage, and overhead expenses.
• Implement cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements in financial processes.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile stock discrepancies.
• Manage invoicing, collections, and payments to suppliers and vendors.
• Process payroll and ensure timely salary payments while maintaining employee records.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper cash flow management.
• Ensure compliance with Sri Lanka’s financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits.
• Maintain and update accounting policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Male
• Age below 45
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. & CA Part qualification
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Strong understanding of cost accounting, taxation, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
