Job Duties

• Manage and develop agricultural sales operations across Jaffna, Kilinochchi, and Vavuniya.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Develop and manage relationships with farmers, agricultural dealers, distributors, retailers, and other stakeholders.
• Expand the company's market presence and identify new business opportunities within the Northern Province.
• Promote agricultural products, solutions, equipment, seeds, fertilizers, agrochemicals, or other assigned products.
• Conduct regular field visits and provide support to customers and business partners.
• Manage and monitor distributor and dealer performance.
• Identify market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and new agricultural opportunities.
• Lead, guide, and monitor the sales team within the assigned territory.
• Prepare sales forecasts, market reports, and performance reports.
• Ensure effective product distribution and availability across the assigned region.
• Build strong relationships with key customers and agricultural communities.

Requirements

• Male
• Age below 50 years
• Previous experience as an Area Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Territory Sales Manager, or Senior Sales Executive.
• Experience in the Agriculture, Agribusiness, Agrochemical, Fertilizer, Seed, Agricultural Equipment, or related industry is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural markets and farming communities in Jaffna, Kilinochchi, and Vavuniya.
• Experience managing dealers, distributors, retailers, and sales teams.
• Strong communication, negotiation, leadership, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve challenging sales targets.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Northern Province.
• Valid driving licence will be an added advantage.
