Adhere to proper recording systems and procedures in all sections of the accounting operation and prepare the relevant reports including financial performance and forecasts pertaining to the respective SBU’s operational costs in order to facilitate management decision making
Prepare & maintain the fixed asset register for the company while upholding compliance standards
Prepare the annual budget and LRP (Long Range Plan) for the SBU and coordinate with relevant internal teams to obtain all necessary information for finalization of the budget
Monitor cash flows & ensure efficient flow of working capital, in order to avail adequate financial resources for operations and ensure cash flow statements / dividend projections are prepared in order to support management decision making
Ensure that costing statements and valuations are up to date
Capital Expenditure Control – ensuring that company capital expenditure remains within budgeted levels and CAPEXs are sufficiently justified prior to approval
Overhead control and variance analysis
Conduct customer profitability analysis to identify trends in the company’s profitability and cash flow
Engage in all ad-hoc reporting that facilitates decision making
Act as the finance representative for the value stream to support the Operations teams.
Requirements
A degree in Accounting and Finance from a recognized university
Membership in CIMA or any other Finance related professional institute
