Assistant HR Manager Full-Time

Job Duties


  • Assist in developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified candidates.
  • Participate in interviews, selection processes, and onboarding for new hires.
  • Collaborate with department managers to understand staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns and grievances.
  • Support the implementation and management of employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive work culture.
  • Assist in conducting investigations and resolving employee conflicts and issues.
  • Support the performance appraisal process, including setting performance standards and objectives.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to managers on performance improvement plans and disciplinary actions.
  • Help identify and address performance-related issues promptly and effectively.
  • Assess training needs and coordinate training programs for employees at all levels.
  • Assist in developing and implementing employee development initiatives to enhance skills and career growth.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
  • Help administer and manage employee compensation and benefits programs.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements related to compensation and benefits.
  • Conduct salary surveys and analyze compensation data to ensure competitive pay practices.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain employee records and documentation in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Promote and enforce workplace safety standards and practices.
  • Collaborate with plant management to align HR strategies with business goals.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and make informed decisions.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Help develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Conduct exit interviews and analyzed feedback to address turnover issues.
  • Promote a culture of recognition and reward ta motivate employees.

Requirements 

  • Male / Female
  • Age Below 40
  • Bachelor's degree- in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional HR certification [SHRM-CP, SH RM-SCP, PHR, SPHR] is a plus.
  • Proven minimum 3 Years experience as an Assistant HR Manager or in a similar HR leadership role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Preference will be given to candidates living in close proximity to our factory [Negombo, Divulapitiya, Minuwangada & Katana]
