Assistant Manager QA Full-Time

Job Duties

  • Ensure the Quality Assurance (QA) processes and systems are implemented and maintained effectively within the manufacturing environment.
  • Conduct quality awareness training programs for employees on Quality Management Systems and SAP QM module.
  • Identify and allocate resources required for QA process implementation and monitoring.
  • Ensure efficient utilization of manpower, production resources, and QA tools.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional departments including Production, Technical, and Operations to achieve quality objectives.
  • Investigate external customer complaints, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor and follow up on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) through scheduled internal audits and quality reviews.
  • Implement improvements based on customer product audits and third-party inspections.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with validated product specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with technical and production teams to update and improve process specifications and quality procedures.
  • Conduct internal process audits, compliance checks, and quality inspections.
  • Maintain accurate QA data, quality reports, audit documentation, and management presentations.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce quality failure costs and customer complaints.
  • Contribute to operational improvements, staff training, and quality culture development.


Requirements

  • Female/ Male
  • Age Below 40
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Science, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Qualifications such as NDT / BSc Polymer Technology / MSc Polymer Science will be an added advantage.
  • Diploma in Quality Management – SLSI preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a manufacturing environment.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in a senior QA or supervisory capacity.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS), internal audits, process audits, and manufacturing quality standards.
  • Knowledge of SAP QM module, QA documentation, and quality process control will be an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
