Job Role

• Develop and implement retail space planning strategies to maximize store performance and customer experience.
• Analyze store layouts and optimize product placement to improve sales and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain planograms in line with category management and merchandising strategies.
• Collaborate with merchandising, operations, and marketing teams to ensure effective space utilization across retail outlets.
• Monitor store compliance with approved layouts and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Conduct space productivity analyses and provide insights based on sales and customer behavior data.
• Support new store openings, renovations, and store re-layout projects.
• Ensure consistency in retail standards and visual merchandising guidelines across all locations.
• Prepare reports and presentations on space allocation, performance metrics, and optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely execution of retail space planning initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or a professional qualification in Business Management, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in retail space planning, category management, merchandising, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of retail operations, store layouts, and space optimization techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with space planning or planogram software will be an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret sales and performance data.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel to retail locations when required.
