Ensure timely and accurate tax
computations, filings, and statutory compliance (VAT, Corporate Income
Tax, Withholding Tax, and other applicable taxes).
Prepare and submit all tax
returns while maintaining compliance with Sri Lankan tax regulations.
Liaise with tax authorities for
audits, assessments, queries, and statutory submissions.
Monitor tax exposures and
recommend corrective actions to minimize compliance risks.
Manage daily cash flow, bank
balances, and funding requirements to support business operations.
Handle bank transactions, remittances,
Letters of Credit (LC), Documents Against Acceptance (DA), and other
treasury-related documentation.
Prepare and review bank
reconciliations and treasury reports.
Support financial risk management
by monitoring liquidity and banking relationships.
Ensure compliance with internal
financial controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with internal
departments and external stakeholders to improve tax and treasury
processes.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting,
Finance, or a related field.
Partly or fully qualified in CA
Sri Lanka, ACCA, or CIMA.
Minimum 4–6 years of relevant
experience in Finance, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial
role.
Proven experience in Tax &
Treasury, preferably within a manufacturing or similar industry.
Strong knowledge of VAT,
Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax, and other statutory tax
regulations.
Sound understanding of treasury
operations, cash flow management, banking procedures, and financial
reporting.
Hands-on experience with SAP (FI)
and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and BI reporting tools.
Excellent analytical,
problem-solving, and financial reporting skills.
Strong communication, leadership,
and stakeholder management abilities.
Ability to work independently,
meet deadlines, and maintain high accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
