Job Duties:

• Lead the Electrical (MEP) Department and manage the end-to-end delivery of high-rise building projects.
• Coordinate closely with Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Architectural, and BIM teams throughout all project phases.
• Review and approve electrical calculations, technical drawings, specifications, BOQs, and design reports.
• Ensure designs comply with Sri Lankan regulations, IEC, BS, NFPA, and other applicable international standards.
• Conduct design reviews, value engineering, and technical risk assessments to optimize project performance.
• Provide technical guidance during construction, attend site inspections, resolve engineering issues, and support commissioning activities.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and departmental resources.
• Mentor and develop engineers, ensuring high technical performance and continuous professional growth.
• Participate in client meetings, consultant coordination, technical presentations, and project progress reviews.
• Support tender preparation, technical proposals, and business development initiatives.

Requirements:

• Male
• Age below 45 
• B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University together with MBA or MSc in a relevant discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with IESL or an internationally recognized professional institution.
• Over 10 years’ experience in Engineering, Operations and Maintenance in high rise buildings
• Experience in maintaining Electrical Systems, MVAC Systems, Generators, Vertical Transportation Systems, VFDs, BMS, Fire Alarm System and troubleshooting the same will be required.
• Formal qualification and track record in Energy Management will be considered as an added advantage
• Be conversant with Building Services Engineering, Technical and Compliance audits and Report Writing
• Good Communication and People Management Skills
• Preference will be given to candidates residing within a 25km radius of the workplace
