Job Duties 

• Assist the Chef de Partie in managing the assigned kitchen section
• Prepare and cook food according to approved recipes and kitchen standards
• Assist with daily food preparation, including cutting, portioning and basic cooking
• Ensure food is prepared on time and according to service requirements
• Maintain consistent food quality, taste and presentation
• Follow proper portion control and help minimise food wastage
• Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before use
• Store ingredients correctly according to food safety standards
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and work area
• Follow food safety, health and sanitation procedures at all times
• Assist with receiving and organising kitchen supplies when required
• Support the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef during busy service periods
• Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations
• Assist in monitoring and maintaining kitchen equipment
• Follow instructions from senior chefs and complete assigned tasks efficiently
• Support junior kitchen staff when required

Requirements

• Male / female 
• Age between 35 - 45 years
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen position
• Good knowledge of basic food preparation and cooking techniques
• Understanding of kitchen operations and food safety standards
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
• Good attention to detail and commitment to food quality
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure during busy service periods
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Fluency in English is essential
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays
