Job Duties:

• Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing/production facility ensuring efficiency, overall equipment effectiveness and quality standards are met.
• Reduce rejections by meeting given targets with improved production planning process by identifying the wastage and to make proper actions to eliminate it
• Effective use of manpower to maximize output with a proper plan in relation to labour cost.
• Managing and controlling material consumption by reducing it’s cost & overheads by identifying the issues related to cost in the production process.
• Follow most effective best practices to achieve business excellence such as 5S, Lean, Six Sigma.  
• Meeting the requirements of QMS, OHSAS, and environmental compliance in line with company policies and local regulations.
• Develop a proper plan to reduce turnover and absenteeism to meet the current ratios and encourage the workforce to adopt a long term work plan to support the production process. 
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare operational reports for senior management.
• Provide leadership and guidance to production staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Requirements:

• Male
• Age between 35-40 
• A BSc degree or NDT in Polymer Science/Chemistry, production management 
• Possessing at least 4 to 6 years’ managerial experience in a medium to large scale manufacturing organization. (12 + years total experience)
• Be multiskilled, with exposure to rubber manufacturing industry
• Proven ability to lead cross functional teams and drive process improvements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
