Job Duties:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
• Ensure compliance with Sri Lanka Accounting Standards (SLFRS/LKAS) and company policies.
• Prepare and submit tax returns, including VAT, SVAT (if applicable), Income Tax, WHT, PAYE/APIT, and other statutory filings.
• Liaise with the Inland Revenue Department and other regulatory authorities on taxation matters.
• Monitor tax deadlines and ensure timely submission of all statutory returns.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing required schedules and supporting documents.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance and compliance.
• Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Support process improvements and financial reporting automation initiatives.

Requirements:

• Male/ Female
• Age below 40
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in financial reporting and taxation.
• Sound knowledge of Sri Lankan taxation regulations and accounting standards.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting principles and statutory compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines.
