Job Duties 

• Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate journal entries for all manufacturing-related transactions.
• Record and reconcile daily financial transactions including raw material purchases, production costs, and overheads.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Monitor and manage product costing, including BOM (Bill of Materials), labor, and overhead costs.
• Work with production and procurement to track inventory levels and reconcile physical stock with records.
• Analyze cost variances and report findings to management.
• Assist in preparing operational budgets and forecasts.
• Track actual expenses vs. budgeted and highlight deviations.
• Ensure compliance with Sri Lankan tax regulations (VAT, NBT, income tax, etc.)
• Prepare necessary documentation for audits and tax submissions.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Analyze profitability by product, department, or cost center.
• Support management with key financial insights for decision-making.
• Generate ad hoc financial reports and summaries when required.
• Use ERP/accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Tally) to process transactions and generate reports.
• Ensure accurate data entry and timely system updates.

Requirements

• Male / Female
• Age below 35
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
• Part or full qualification in CIMA / ACCA / CA Sri Lanka / CMA is preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing finance processes.
• Familiarity with inventory control, WIP (Work in Progress) management, and CAPEX/OPEX tracking.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (ERP experience is a plus).
• Attention to detail and strong analytical mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
