Job Duties

• Responsible for overall vessel and terminal operational functions
• Stowage planning, space-allocation & utilisation, cost management in all aspects of vessel operations
• Coordinate and maintain good relations with the port, terminals, customs, overseas agents, principal offices and partners.
• Risk Management/Cargo Claims and dispute management
• Study processes and propose simplification in line with the companies guidelines 
• Analyse and present data, Conduct Market and competitor analysis, new service studies and implement service enhancement and other strategic initiatives. 
• Monitor team’s performance, guide and train them on processes relating to Vessel operations 

Requirements 

• Male/ Female 
• Professional Qualifications in Shipping related studies
• Over 15 years of overall experience in Mainline/Feeder Operations out of which 5 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Age below 50
• Proven experience in Operations, business development and management.
• Sound relationship with Local Shipping Authorities and other Local Shipping Agents
• Ability to understand and interpret financial information.
• Proven Leadership skills – Ability to lead, direct and guide a team.
