Job Duties

• Lead, implement and oversee all the processes related to the elastics production and associated facilities looking to drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing across the facilities.
• Providing visionary leadership whilst directing and motivating the team, monitoring, and improving performance whilst developing capabilities to meet current and future business requirements.
• Lead the business with a view to transform the culture to foster innovation, collaboration, and a commitment to excellence.
• Ensuring all quality control and quality assurance systems are in place in line with customer and ISO compliance requirements.
• Ensure appropriate 5S/H&S standards and procedures are implemented and sustained to maintain a hazard free and productive work environment.
• Working with the wider group functions to ensure achievement of pre agreed targets for waste, labor, quality, turnover and all other KPI’s.
• Input into the budgeting process for relevant departments.
• Communicating with stakeholders on project requirements and advise on solutions.
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages employee growth and engagement.
• Perform additional duties from time to time as and when requested by management.
• Champion a customer centric mindset.
• Using KPI data to complete benchmarking and implementing best in class organizational design as a result of analyzing this data and implementing lean processes.
• Recruit, train and develop a high performing team.
• Developing a cross functional team to ensure we have the highest levels of productivity and capability across the plant.

Requirements 

• Male / Female
• Age below 50
• Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field
• 10 years of expertise in the manufacture of narrow fabric elastics
• Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the manufacturing industry, preferably in narrow fabric or textiles.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing process improvements.
• Track record of successful cultural transformation and change management.
• Experience with automation projects and technologies.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment.
