Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in compliance with industry standards such as ISO 9001.
Ensure all quality processes and procedures are documented, updated, and adhered to by all staff.
Oversee all quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) activities in the manufacturing process.
Conduct regular audits, inspections, and testing to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Manage non-conformance reports and corrective action plans to address quality issues.
Collaborate with R&D and production teams during product development to ensure quality considerations are integrated from the outset.
Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and validation activities.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure the quality of raw materials and components.
Utilize quality tools and methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and standards (e.g., DOT, ECE, REACH).
Engage with customers to understand their quality requirements and feedback, ensuring their specifications and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma Black Belt) is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality assurance/quality control within the tire manufacturing or automotive industry.
Proven experience in a senior quality leadership role.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in using quality management software and tools.
