Job Duties 

• Responsible to initiate continuous cost saving through negotiations to improve margins
• Cost-saving budgeting and targeting  
• Liaison and negotiating with local and overseas suppliers 
• Providing expertise input on a commercial function to Internal customers
• Ensure efficient sourcing operations and compliance with sourcing SOP
• Manage the new supplier onboarding process and respond to new supplier set up related inquiries timely
• Become a subject matter expert on sourcing systems and train key business partners on our sourcing systems
• Partner with business leaders and system users to ensure strong understanding of process and policies throughout the organization to maintain strong compliance thresholds
• Continue to improve internal SLAs and meet the commitments with our business 
• Perform and develop data analytics that can assist the team and business to assess compliance with policies and approval times in the sourcing process
• Grooming the subordinates by quoting examples on day to day exceptional activities 

Requirement

• Degree in Economics / Diploma in Supply Chain Management
• Minimum 04 years of experience in the field of Commercial / Purchasing / Imports / Exports / Apparel Business
• Minimum 04 - 06 years (for Manager ), 03 years (for Deputy Manager) experience of Managerial skills in a blue chip / reputed Organization
• Sound knowledge on Market Intelligence Development
• Ability to select suppliers and manage the relationship
• Having potential to stimulate the product innovation process
• Excellent negotiating skills, behavioral skills and analytical skills
• Customer centric and excellent communication skills to manage the suppliers
