Build and implement HR policies, procedures, and hospitality-specific standards that ensure smooth operations across hotels, restaurants, and F&B outlets.
Lead the full performance management cycle including KPIs, monthly reviews, and annual appraisals for service, kitchen, housekeeping, and operational teams.
Manage end-to-end recruitment for hotel staff, restaurant crew, chefs, stewards, cashiers, supervisors, and outlet managers to maintain required manpower levels.
Oversee onboarding, orientation, grooming, and service culture training to maintain top-tier hospitality and brand standards.
Handle employee relations, staff discipline, grievance handling, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair and consistent HR practices.
Drive a performance-based, customer-focused workplace culture across front-of-house, back-of-house, kitchen, and support departments.
Lead change management initiatives, including HRIS implementation, digital systems (POS/ERP), and hospitality service standard upgrades.
Strengthen workforce discipline, attendance tracking, staff communication, and employee motivation through structured engagement and welfare programs.
Develop and refine HR SOPs, duty rosters, attendance workflows, leave procedures, and HR documentation for efficient operations.
Ensure compliance with Sri Lanka labor laws, hospitality industry regulations, food safety guidelines, and health & safety standards.
Work with management on manpower planning, talent development, promotions, and succession planning for key hospitality roles.
Collaborate closely with chefs, restaurant managers, hotel operations teams, and senior leadership to support service excellence and staffing needs.

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field; professional HR qualifications are an added advantage.
Minimum 5+ years of HR management experience, preferably in Hospitality, Hotels, Restaurants, F&B, Catering, or Manufacturing sectors.
Strong knowledge of HR operations, performance management, disciplinary procedures, and hospitality workforce requirements.
Proven experience in culture transformation, change management, and modern HR system implementation.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage diverse hospitality teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hotel/restaurant environment and handle multiple operational priorities.
