Develop and recommend pricing strategies for different markets and product categories based on the overall profit objectives of the organization.
Respond for all pricing queries within 2 days by ensuring a faster response process.
Build pricing models to forecast the future margins in line with the development in both macro and micro environments and manage price increases or reductions with these inputs in line with the overall profit objective.
Act as a business partner to sales teams, focusing on improving product and customer profitability through careful administration of various discounting schemes and promotional schemes.
Carefully evaluate pricing assumptions vs actual deliverables and challenge manufacturing plants, sourcing and sales functions to meet the overall profit objective of the organization.
Provide actionable insights on pricing using buying patterns, competitive information and market trends.
Requirements
Qualified in CIMA/ ACCA or CA
Hands-on experience in a similar role with exposure to management accounting functions in a larger export organization
At least 5 years of experience in a similar function
