Manager - Engineering (Factory Maintenance) Full-Time
Job Duties
- Implement annual preventive maintenance plans to achieve operational targets.
- Ensure energy efficiency and adherence to engineering best practices.
- Work closely with SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) teams to maintain a safe workplace.
- Lead machinery upgrades, process improvements, and new technology integration.
- Manage subcontracted maintenance activities and prepare MIS reports.
- Train and guide the maintenance team to meet performance expectations.
- Support new product introductions by coordinating with R&D, QA, and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Male / Female
- Age below 40
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (University of Moratuwa or Peradeniya preferred)
- Master’s degree is an added advantage
- Minimum 10+ years experience in the manufacturing industry
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams
