Job Duties

• Develop, implement, and maintain the organisation’s Risk Management Framework, policies, and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and Basel standards.
• Provide independent oversight across all risk categories and ensure effective risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and mitigation.
• Align risk management strategies with corporate objectives, regulatory expectations, and the approved Risk Appetite Framework.
• Serve as Secretary to the Board Integrated Risk Management Committee (BIRMC), supporting effective governance and decision-making.
• Ensure timely reporting of key risk exposures, emerging risks, and mitigation plans to senior management and the Board.
• Oversee the Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP) and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Lead the organisation’s risk response during crises and coordinate appropriate risk mitigation measures.
• Develop and manage the Business Continuity Management (BCM) Framework to ensure organisational resilience.
• Promote a strong risk-aware culture through training, guidance, and collaboration with first-line staff and leadership.
• Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry practices to ensure continuous improvement of risk management processes.

Requirements

• Male/Female
• Age below 50 years
• A Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related discipline from a recognised university or institute.
• Membership in a recognised professional body such as CIMA, CA, or ACCA, and/or a Diploma in Risk Management from a recognised institute.
• Full or partial qualifications in Financial Risk Management (FRM) will be considered a strong advantage.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in the banking and finance sector, preferably within the Risk Management function.
• Proven track record in risk governance, independent oversight, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong proficiency in financial analysis, risk assessment, and strategic risk management.
• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and decision-making skills.
