Job Duties

• Develop and implement business plans for the assigned unit, in alignment with the company’s strategy
• Achieve or exceed budgeted targets for revenue, profitability, and growth
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, delegating tasks and authority as appropriate
• Ensure that all team members are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures
• Foster an environment of open communication, collaboration, and mutual respect
• Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor industry trends and developments, and adjust plans accordingly
• Identify and seize new business opportunities
• Analyze data and financial reports to inform decision-making
• Prepare accurate and timely reports for upper management
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, partners, and customers
• Represent the company at industry events and conferences
• Establishing goals and objectives for each business unit, then measuring performance against those goals
• Making sure that the business unit has adequate staff, equipment, facilities, and other resources to accomplish its goals
• Developing and implementing new products or services that meet customer needs or changing existing offerings to meet changing market conditions
• Conducting market research studies to identify potential new customers or new uses for existing products or services
• Monitoring the progress of ongoing projects to ensure that they are on schedule and within budget
• Maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure a steady supply of materials at reasonable prices
• Coordinating with other departments within the organization to ensure that products or services meet customer needs
• Monitoring industry trends and competitor activities to identify areas where additional research or development is needed to maintain competitiveness
• Communicating information about new products or services to customers through direct mailings, advertisements, and other marketing materials

Requirements

• MBA with Bachelor’s degree
• CA or CIMA membership
• 10+ years experience in business management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Proven track record of successful team management and building high-performing teams
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strategic thinker with ability to develop and implement long-term plans
