Job Duties

• Develop and implement marketing plans to promote shipping and logistics services.
• Identify potential clients and generate leads through market research and networking.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, freight forwarders, and logistics partners.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct competitor analysis and stay updated on industry trends and market conditions.
• Prepare and present marketing proposals, sales pitches, and promotional materials.
• Manage digital marketing efforts, including social media, email campaigns, and website updates.
• Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
• Prepare reports on marketing performance and sales conversion rates.
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• Female/ Male
• Age below 35
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Business Management, Logistics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in the shipping & logistics sector.
• Strong knowledge of the shipping, freight forwarding, and supply chain industry.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM software, and digital marketing tools.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales and marketing targets.
• Fluency in English and Sinhala/Tamil is an advantage.
• A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel for business purpose
