Job Role

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks and repairing imperfections.
• Apply primer, paint, varnish and other coatings to interior and exterior surfaces.
• Paint walls, ceilings, doors, windows, furniture and other structures as required.
• Mix and match paints to achieve the required colours and finishes.
• Use brushes, rollers, spray guns and other painting equipment appropriately.
• Carry out touch-ups, repainting and routine painting maintenance.
• Protect floors, furniture, equipment and surrounding areas during painting work.
• Inspect completed work to ensure a smooth, clean and even finish.
• Maintain painting tools, equipment and work areas in good condition.
• Follow health and safety procedures when handling paints, solvents and other materials.
• Identify surface defects or maintenance issues and report them to the supervisor.
• Complete assigned painting work within the required timeframe and quality standards.

Job Requirements

• Male
• Age below 50
• Previous experience as a Painter or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation and finishing.
• Ability to use painting tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to work for extended periods when required.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete assigned work on time.
