Job duties

• 
  
• Install, repair and maintain water supply, drainage and plumbing systems.
• Install and repair pipes, valves, taps, sinks, toilets, showers and other plumbing fixtures.
• Identify and repair water leaks, blockages and damaged pipes.
• Perform plumbing maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
• Measure, cut, join and install pipes using appropriate tools and techniques.
• Conduct pressure tests and inspect plumbing systems for leaks and faults.
• Carry out installation and maintenance of sanitary fittings and drainage systems.
• Read and follow basic plumbing layouts, drawings and work instructions.
• Replace damaged or worn-out plumbing components.
• Respond to plumbing emergencies and carry out necessary repairs promptly.
• Maintain plumbing tools, equipment and materials in good working condition.
• Keep work areas clean and organized after completing tasks.
• Follow health and safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other maintenance/construction workers when required.
• Report material requirements, major faults or maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Complete assigned work within the required timeframe and quality standards.

Requirements

• Male
• Age below 50
• Previous experience as a Plumber or in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of plumbing systems, pipes, fittings and sanitary fixtures.
• Ability to identify and troubleshoot leaks, blockages and plumbing faults.
• Ability to use plumbing tools and equipment safely and effectively.
• Ability to read basic plumbing drawings and measurements.
• Good attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to work in different environments.
• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete work on time.
