Job Duties 

• Responsible for Identifying material/service requirements for planned and unplanned work and raise purchase orders under purchasing authority and also maintain purchasing records.
• Identify and assess the yarn/chemical/engineering/packing material/ other requirements, then recommend supplier quotations, bids and proposals.
• Responsible for work with external suppliers and service providers to determine procurement needs, quality, and delivery requirements and communicate the order performance including delivery, receipt, quality, damages and shortages. 
• Responsible for inventory control while arranging fast moving stock items and controlling slow moving items and non-moving items.
• Responsible for CAPEX purchases while Handling end to end asset purchases. 
• Ensure handover all invoices timely which related to material purchases and services in order to arrange payments and clear the long- pending purchase orders.

Requirements

• BSc Degree/ Diploma in Supply Chain, or other equivalent professional qualification.
• Be multi skilled, with exposure to supply management functions
• Possessing at least 1-3 years’ experience in a medium to large scale manufacturing organization
• Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage
• Be an excellent team player
