Job Duties

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Manage tax-related matters, including income tax, VAT, SSCL, and other applicable statutory obligations.
• Handle payroll processing and ensure accurate salary calculations and statutory deductions.
• Prepare financial reports, management accounts, and relevant financial statements.
• Ensure timely submission of tax returns and statutory payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
• Monitor expenses, cash flow, and financial transactions.
• Coordinate with management, auditors, banks, and relevant government authorities as required.

Requirements

• Female
• Proven Minimum 5 years experience in accounting, with strong practical knowledge of taxation, VAT, SSCL, and payroll.
• Good understanding of Sri Lankan tax regulations and statutory compliance requirements.
• Previous experience in the restaurant or hotel industry will be a significant advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage accounting responsibilities efficiently.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• A proactive professional with practical knowledge of restaurant or hospitality financial operations.
