Job Role

• Oversee SAP Business One workflows, approvals, and internal control processes.
• Manage internal and external audit activities, ensuring timely completion and compliance requirements.
• Lead the preparation and finalization of audited financial statements and the Annual Report.
• Prepare and coordinate Sustainability Reporting in line with SLFRS S1 & S2 standards.
• Monitor daily finance operations, including cash flow management, reconciliations, and transaction processing.
• Supervise finance team activities and ensure accurate and timely accounting operations.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including VAT, taxation, EPF/ETF, and corporate tax obligations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, project accounting, and cost monitoring for real estate projects.
• Maintain and strengthen internal control frameworks, company policies, and standard operating procedures.
• Oversee the accounting functions of Management Corporations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve financial objectives.

Job Requirements

• Age below 50
• Male/Female Candidates
• Professional qualification in CA Sri Lanka, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• MBA in Finance or a related discipline will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Business One is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of SLFRS/IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Exposure to SLFRS S1 & S2 or Sustainability/ESG reporting frameworks will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in managing audits, statutory compliance, budgeting, and financial controls.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
