Job duties 

• Oversee overall finance management for plantation operations in Ratnapura
• Handle financial reporting, statutory compliance, audits, and system improvements
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, cash flow plans, and cost control budgets
• Monitor and control plantation operational costs including labor, fertilizer, maintenance, harvesting, and factory expenses
• Manage cash flow, working capital, banking facilities, and payment processing
• Ensure effective inventory control and safeguarding of plantation assets
• Validate plantation data, yield reports, KPIs, and operational performance metrics
• Strengthen internal controls, risk management, and compliance frameworks
• Support strategic planning, CAPEX projects, plantation expansion, and efficiency improvement initiatives
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, financial institutions, economists, and government authorities
• Lead and supervise the finance team, overseeing financial reporting, compliance, and controls
• Gradually take responsibility for the entire finance function of plantation companies based in Ratnapura 

Requirements 

• Male 
• Age below 45
• CA Sri Lanka / ACCA (UK) qualified or finalist
• 3–4 years of managerial experience, preferably in plantation, agriculture, or manufacturing sectors
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, compliance, and internal controls
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
• High proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and financial management tools
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration will be an added advantage
