Job Duties

• Develop, implement, and maintain Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) systems within the organization.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety standards including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
• Conduct workplace safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments regularly.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and prepare corrective/preventive action reports.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across all departments.
• Conduct employee awareness programs, fire drills, and safety training sessions.
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records.
• Monitor PPE usage and ensure adherence to workplace safety procedures.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities and external auditors regarding compliance requirements.
• Support environmental sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Male
• Age Below 45
• Degree or professional qualification in Occupational Health & Safety / Environmental Management / Engineering or related field.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, NDT, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in Health & Safety or EHS compliance within a manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to conduct training and awareness sessions effectively.
• Knowledge of food safety and environmental compliance will be an added advantage.
• Candidates residing close to Ekala / Ja-Ela area will have an added advantage.
