Job Duties

• Monitor all end-to-end procurement activities, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timely delivery.
• Oversee the procurement and supply of local materials.
• Identify materials requirements and onboard new suppliers, both locally and internationally, with technical and commercial evaluation.
• Supervise MEP subcontractor work and negotiate contracts to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly forecasts for local and imported project materials.
• Manage supplier registration and evaluation in compliance with ISO requirements.
• Generate weekly and monthly procurement reports for management.
• Monitor key materials and consumables, updating reorder levels through periodic inventory movement reviews and ROL assessments.

Requirements

• Male/ Female
• Age Below 35
• 4 years of hands-on experience in the MEP and Construction Industry would be a definite advantage.
• BSc in Transport and Logistics Management or equivalent qualifications.
• Excellent written and oral skills in both Sinhala and English.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and presentation skills.
• Very good knowledge of warehouse management.
• Knowledge of SAP systems would be an added advantage.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
