Job Duties

• Strategically manage the assigned area in supply chain operation and ensure that goods and materials are available on time.
• Cost effective and quality assured sourcing, both local and international.
• Processing of Purchase orders through SAP on time.
• Maintain UpToDate supplier data base.
• Continuous improvement in setting KPIs and Follow up on ISO / 5S procedures.
• Use good negotiation skills / techniques for competitive prices.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies.
• Introduce new products and enhance product range of the company.

Requirements

• Male
• Age below 45
• 3 Passes at GCE A/L. Degree or Diploma in Supplies and Materials Management or   equivalent. Partly qualified in CIMA will be added advantage.
• 03 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
• Excellent written & verbal communication in English, Negotiations and Inter-personal skills.
• Excellent team player.
• Higher Computer Literacy is a must. 
• Ability to converse in Tamil, Experience in 5 S or ISO environment, ERP systems and a HRIS system will be added advantages.           
• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.
• Ability to perform in hard working conditions, meeting tight deadlines..
• Valid riding / driving license.
