Job Duties

• Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns in a timely manner
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on tax law changes affecting the railroad manufacturing industry
• Collaborate with various departments to gather necessary financial data for tax compliance
• Analyze financial statements to determine tax liabilities and opportunities for tax savings
• Assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies
• Oversee audits related to taxes and liaise with tax authorities when necessary
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of tax-related transactions and calculations

Requirements

• Male/Female
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CA, CMA, or an equivalent qualification is a definite advantage.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in tax, accounting, or financial reporting roles.
• Sound knowledge of tax regulations, accounting principles and compliance standards.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. 
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
