Job Duties

• Carry out preventive maintenance, servicing, and basic repair of IT and electronic equipment
• Assist with installation, testing, and troubleshooting of computer hardware and electronic devices
• Ensure all power tools and manual tools are used in compliance with health and safety standards
• Liaise with supervisors and technical teams regarding daily work schedules and material requirements
• Attend on-site service calls in Colombo 05 and surrounding areas as required
• Support equipment demonstrations, user guidance, and preparation of basic training manuals
• Maintain service records, maintenance logs, and technical documentation
• Participate in technical training programs and workshops to enhance skills
• Report job progress, technical issues, and service updates to the supervisor
• Assist in general IT support and technical service operations in an IT-based industry

Requirements

• Male
• age below 35 years
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Technician / IT Technician / Electronics Technician
• NVQ Level 4 qualification in Computer Hardware or Electronics
• Basic knowledge of IT hardware, electronic systems, and troubleshooting
• Willingness to learn and work in a field-based technical environment
• Ability to work on weekdays 8.30 AM – 5.00 PM
• Valid riding license will be a distinct advantage
