Job Role:

• Perform day-to-day accounting tasks, daily accounting entries, and financial record keeping.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, accounts reports, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.
• Conduct and finalize bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and bank account monitoring.
• Use Sage accounting software, QuickBooks, or other accounting systems for accurate data entry.
• Coordinate and prepare tax filings, including VAT, SVAT, WHT, corporate tax, and government tax compliance.
• Participate in stock audits, inventory counting, and internal audit support.
• Assist in annual audits, financial audits, and liaise with external auditors.
• Handle branch operation complaints, financial discrepancies, and accounting issues resolution.
• Maintain general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and support finance team operations.

Requirements:

• Female/ Male
• Age below 30
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting, accounts assistant, finance assistant, or junior accountant role (mandatory).
• Qualified Business Level 1 in CA and professional qualification in CIMA, AAT, CMA, or equivalent accounting certification.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, financial reporting, and taxation in Sri Lanka.
• Proficiency in Sage accounting software, QuickBooks, or similar accounting tools.
• Ability to manage VAT, SVAT, WHT, payroll, and tax compliance.
• Experienced in bank reconciliation, ledger maintenance, monthly reporting, audit preparation, and stock audits.
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, good communication, and ability to handle financial discrepancies.
• Ready for immediate joining and full-time work in Narahenpita, Colombo, Sri Lanka.
